Our ever-growing company is looking for a motivated business & Marketing development manager to develop and implement growth strategies for the achievement of revenue goals.

The candidate should have the right blend of analytical talent and business know-how. A successful applicant should be a team player who understands how to identify a new market opportunity.

We’re especially looking for someone with great communication skills, as you’ll be expected to interact with executives and clients on a daily basis.

• Developing growth strategies and plans

• Growing the business through client acquisition and sales

• Maintaining relationships with them

• Reporting on the most productive sales

• Writing reports and analysing relevant business data presenting findings to MD

• Determining the reasons for profits and losses

• Promoting a culture of growth through sales across the business

• Educating team members on best business practices and techniques for increasing effectiveness

• Finding new clients and promoting sales to them

• Identifying key accounts

• Following up on client leads

• Being knowledgeable about products and services offered by the business

• Selling products and services in person and over the phone

• Raising the company profile by attending expositions and seminars

• Suggesting new projects such as product development to tap into new markets

• Being aware of market trends and competitors

• Complying with regulations and laws of business development

• Maintaining a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business

You will need:

• Management skills

• An understanding of Marketing

• Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy

• The ability to self-motivate and motivate within a team

• A good grasp of numbers and the ability to write documents in a professional style

This is new venture for a small marketing department within Associated Security, we are looking to expand this department and are really excited about bringing in this role, We are open to lots of new and exciting marketing plans and cannot wait for someone with passion and drive to join the team!

What we are looking for:

· Strong generalist experience in a marketing role, with a focus on Business Development,

· Strong academics ideally including a marketing degree / qualification

· Clear understanding of business development and marketing and how to add value in the Business Development

· Experienced in planning, budgeting and reporting

· Pitch and presentation creation experience

· Experienced in using data to assist decision making and reporting on ROI

· Ability to provide hands on, operational and strategic level support

· Excellent project management skills

· Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels

· IT literate including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

· Knowledge of email marketing tools

· Flexible and proactive team player

· Ability to remain calm under pressure

Working hours:

8am/8.30am to 5/5.30pm, Monday to Friday, though you may on occasion have to work longer to meet a project deadline or when attending an event or conference.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
